1753 – wins silver medal from Académie Royale

1758 – becomes Royal Danish Art Academy (Det Kongelige Danske Kunstakademi) member

1761 – becomes Danish Academy professor (serves as director 8 times)

1802 – death (probably suicide by drowning)
