Career

1888 – meets Paul Sérusier at Académie Julian

1890 - co-founder of the Nabis; the Nabis met regularly in Ranson’s apartment

1908 – opens Académie Ranson as a Nabis school with his wife, France. Maurice Denis and Sérusier teach there
