1824 - exhibits at Berlin art academy; set designer at Königstadt Theater (job secured with Karl Friedrich Schinkel's help) until 1827

1826 member of Association of Berlin Artists (Verein Berliner Künstler)

1827 - moves to Berlin

1831 - appointed professor of lansdcape painting at Berlin academy

1836 - signs of mental illness, resigns from academy

1837 - enters mental institution

1838 - produces last drawings

Dresden and Saxony (1823); Pomerania (1828); Italy and Rome (1828-29); Paris (1835)
